MY BACKGROUND
After receiving my BA in Professional Writing at Trinity Western University in British Columbia, I worked as a content writer for the African Children's Choir, a grant writer for Chehalem Youth and Family Services, and finally as the Assistant Editor of Ellechor Publishing House. At Ellechor, my role involved choosing which manuscripts from the "slush pile" of submissions deserved a second look, which ones didn't, and taking accepted manuscripts through their next phases, developmental and line editing.

Since February of 2014, I have pivoted entirely to freelance editing, and I absolutely love it. I enjoy the freedom of being able to have open dialogue and communication with my clients and the flexibility of setting my own hours. As the number of books I’ve edited increases, so has my confidence and gratitude. It is such a joy to have landed a job I love.

My end goal is for every customer to believe I have added significant value to his or her manuscript.
